The Kitabi College of Conservation and Environmental Management (KCCEM) is located on the outskirts of Nyungwe National Park, 54km from Butare, on the main road Kigali – Rusizi. It is a higher learning institution with the mandate to develop capacity in Conservation, tourism and Environmental Management in Rwanda and the wider Albertine Rift Region.
The college’s training philosophy is guided by the Workforce Development Authority (WDA) principles of vocational skills development and Competence Based Learning (CBL). KCCEM offers a two year diploma program in wildlife Management, wildlife Tourism and Forest Resources Management, as well as several short courses to adult working professionals, local community members and other target groups in the same or related disciplines.
In the course of rendering its core mandate, KCCEM needs to recruit qualified dedicated and experienced 5 teaching staff in the following departments;
- DIPLOMA IN WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT (3 POSITIONS)
- DIPLOMA IN WILDLIFE TOURISM (1 POSITION)
- DIPLOMA IN FOREST RESOURCES MANAGEMENT (1 POSITION
